GTO poker strategy

GTO, or game theory optimal strategy, is a theoretically balanced approach that makes every part of a range difficult to exploit.

Why it matters

GTO study gives players a baseline for bet sizing, bluff frequency, defense, and range construction before adjusting to real opponents.

Example

A solver may mix betting and checking top pair because both actions protect different parts of the range.

Trainer cue

Treat solver output as a baseline, then ask which real-world tendency justifies a deviation.
