Pot odds
Pot odds are the immediate price offered by the pot, usually expressed as the equity needed to break even on a call.
Why it matters
They prevent expensive curiosity calls and help identify profitable continues against different bet sizes.
Example
Calling 50 into a final pot of 200 requires 25 percent equity before future betting is considered.
Trainer cue
Convert the bet size to a break-even percentage before deciding if the hand can continue.
