Poker glossary
Range advantage
A player has range advantage when their overall range has more equity, more strong hands, or more profitable pressure on the current board.
Why it matters
It guides who can bet more often and which bet sizes are plausible.
Example
The preflop raiser often has range advantage on ace-high dry boards; the caller may gain advantage on low connected boards.
Trainer cue
Compare both ranges before judging your exact hand.
