Stack-to-pot ratio

SPR is effective remaining stack divided by the current pot.

Why it matters

Low SPR makes commitment decisions simpler; high SPR rewards hands that can make strong disguised holdings.

Example

With 200 in the pot and 600 behind, the SPR is 3.

Trainer cue

Calculate SPR before deciding whether one pair can play for stacks.
